The P7S1 Data & AI Expo 2024 – it was a wrap!

All eyes on Data & AI!

Numerous colleagues came together for the internally organized event on site to learn more about the work and projects of our Business Intelligence (BI), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Product teams at P7S1. There was a lot on offer: Colleagues presented their current topics and projects at interactive stands, there were exciting presentations and the opportunity to register in advance for prompting training sessions.

The event started by presenting the latest AI trends and discussing how AI-generated content is perceived. Afterwards, our colleague Eva, Director of Strategy & Innovation at Marketing & Creation, showed that AI can not only create content or help with the automation of small tasks, but also serve as a valuable sparring partner: AI inspires us creatively through a variety of ideas or can also slip into the role of the target group. Eva also presented impressive AI use cases in her field, including AI-supported image editing with tools such as Adobe Firefly, the automatic generation of images in line with our corporate design and the improvement of audio content.

Anna, Senior Manager Business Development, presented a pilot project: AI-supported influencer matchmaking. This tool uses extensive data analysis to find the perfect influencers for a brand.

In order to improve their own prompting skills, colleagues were able to try out new approaches and functionalities, such as creating their own assistant, as part of a training course. Our specially developed AI Playground, an internal and therefore secure solution for accessing various AI language models, serves as the basis for this.

The 18 interactive booths at the Expo were also very well attended, where visitors were able to gain various insights into the daily work of the Data & AI teams and talk directly to our experts.

For example, Margarethe, VP BI Products, showed visitors at her stand how a data warehouse works and how it can be used to track the reach of various formats over their entire life cycle.

But not only the visitors were impressed by the wide range of possible applications for AI and data; the expo also had great added value for the data teams themselves. They took the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the needs of other specialist departments at P7S1 and to collect new ideas and findings together.

"This year's Data & AI Expo was once again a great opportunity to exchange ideas with the specialist departments and the Data & AI colleagues in the various group divisions - a basis that pays off incredibly over the year. We are very pleased that the combination of Expo, presentations and training sessions was very well received and that we were able to welcome a large number of interested visitors from all specialist areas.
