Television is the basis of our success. We are using the reach of millions of our TV stations to advance into digital business areas. Thus, we have consistently diversified our company in recent years and created additional sources of revenue. Today, our growth is based on three segments: a wide-ranging entertainment offer consisting of leading TV and digital brands, our international programme production and distribution subsidiary, and a large commerce portfolio.

Seven.One Entertainment Group

Seven.One Entertainment Group unites TV brands as well as the content, digital and marketing business under one roof, thus offering viewers cross-media content across all platforms. In addition to strong channel brands, the entertainment company has strongly expanded its digital business, e.g. with the successful streaming platform Joyn. The company focusses on its own local programs and the expansion of infotainment formats. By connecting TV reach with digital platforms, the Group creates attractive advertising products and is a global innovation leader in the growth area of Addressable TV.

Red Arrow Studios

Red Arrow Studios is one of the world’s leading creators and distributors of entertainment content. Red Arrow Studios is comprised of 20 production companies in seven territories, including 10 companies based in the United States; world-leading digital studio Studio71, based in six countries; and global film and TV distributors Red Arrow Studios International and Gravitas Ventures. The group’s significant output includes scripted, non-scripted and formatted content and IP, from TV and film to short-form and branded content, made for an array of global networks and platforms.

In recent years, ProSiebenSat.1 has built up a successful commerce portfolio, whose growth it promotes through the strategic link-up with the entertainment business. ProSiebenSat.1 bundles its subsidiaries in NCG - NuCom Group, which in 2018 entered into a long-term partnership with the growth equity investor General Atlantic. The portfolio of NuCom Group focuses on the four areas of consumer advice, matchmaking, experiences as well as beauty & lifestyle. The commerce business is the largest growth driver of ProSiebenSat.1 Group and is thus making a material contribution to the expansion of digital revenue sources.

ParshipMeet Group

The combination of Parship Group and the US Meet Group has formed a leading international player covering the entire spectrum of online dating: From social dating via video to online matchmaking based on scientifically proven methods. The ParshipMeet Group includes the brands Parship, ElitePartner, eharmony, MeetMe, Tagged, Skout, Growlr and Lovoo. This broad range allows the Group to expand market shares in the German-speaking and international online dating segment and thus further diversify its revenue streams with their different brand focuses.
